Tim Keller’s, Center Church Unpacked

Tim Keller’s Center Church is widely regarded as one of the most important texts, not only for church planters, but for all churches in urban areas seeking to pursue balanced, gospel centred, contextualised ministry and praying for a movement of revival across their city.

The London Project offers “Center Church Unpacked” - 8 sessions reading group exploring the main themes of the book. The next group will meet every second Monday of each month, and it begins on 9 September 2024 in partnership with the London Church Planting Academy. Register you interest with the button bellow.

What are the learning objectives?

  • Theological Vision: First and foremost, learn how the concept of theological vision can help churches or ministries to be most effective (faithful and fruitful) for urban ministry in London.

  • Gospel Renewal: To help churches to immerse deeply in the gospel by applying it to themselves and understand how it shapes and empowers every aspect of their ministries.

  • City Consciousness: To reflect on what it means to understand, love and identify with the city of London while being able and willing to criticise and challenge it through a biblical and balanced contextualisation.

  • Movement Dynamics: To help leaders of all types of ministries, whether church or parachurch, to think wisely and constructively about their work and the wider movement of which they are just one part.

Who is it for?

If you are a leader in a local church with a desire to be faithful and fruitful in your ministry, the Centre Church Unpacked is for you.
