Who We Are
The London Project is a Redeemer City to City initiative, and is part of City to City UK, an expression of City to City Europe.
City to City was co-founded and chaired by Tim Keller. After transitioning out of his position as senior pastor at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, Tim Keller moved into a full-time role with City to City, focusing on ministry in global cities like Johannesburg, Mumbai, London, São Paulo and New York City.
City to City’s global leaders collaborate to mentor new ministry leaders and spread Gospel movements through affiliate networks worldwide.
City to City has had a relatively small part to play in London, although there is wide-spread respect for Tim Keller and Redeemer.
But now it hopes to be a partner with a growing number of churches seeking to serve the city.
Having met with over 60 leaders across London from a variety of tribes and denominations, we do believe that there is now both a gospel need and a gospel opportunity emerging for which City to City can play a unique part.
Movement
This is a movement that serves planters and networks rather than a new network that seeks to compete. It is Kingdom-minded, collaborative and as generous as the gospel allows us to be.
Gospel
This is a gospel movement: Centred on the gospel and fuelled by the gospel we long to see individuals, churches and communities impacted and formed by the gospel.
City
This is about London: A global city that leads the world and to which the nations have now come.
