How to Preach Like Tim Keller
A training pilot for preachers who want to grow in clarity, depth, and Gospel-centred power.
What made Tim Keller’s preaching so distinctive—capable of engaging sceptics, nourishing believers, and growing a thriving church in the heart of New York City?
In this pilot, we’ll explore the core principles that shaped his ministry and help you apply them to your own preaching.
Who is this pilot for?
We’re looking for participants who can help shape and refine this new training experience. The minimum requirements are:
A commitment to expository ministry
Some preaching experience—beyond the very occasional, first-time preacher
A willingness to give constructive feedback to help us improve the Preaching Lab
If you want to grow as a preacher, learn from Keller’s approach, and contribute to developing a training resource that will serve others, we’d love you to join us.
Across five key themes, you’ll learn to:
Preach the Word – Ground every sermon in faithful, expository teaching.
Preach Christ – Make the person and work of Jesus the centre of every message.
Preach to the Heart – Speak to people’s deepest hopes, fears, and desires.
Preach to the Culture – Engage thoughtfully with the questions and narratives shaping our world.
Preach for Application – Help listeners respond with transformed lives.
